Empowering Photography
This isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about seeing the woman who’s already there.
Made aroundthe individual woman.
Fine-art photography rooted in femininity, self-expression, and celebrating the woman in front of the camera in a way that is timeless. Alanna-Erin creates intimate, natural sessions that celebrate the individual woman, often using the landscape and natural surroundings as part of the imagery, while also offering boudoir photography for those drawn to a more intimate setting.
Each session is built around confidence, freedom of expression and the quiet work of seeing yourself clearly. Some women arrive at a turning point; others simply want something that belongs to them alone.
You do not need modelling experience. There is no body shape, size or age this work is designed for. Alanna-Erin directs and guides you throughout the shoot, helping you move naturally into frames that make you feel comfortable, confident and beautiful, without ever asking you to become someone you are not for the camera.
Fine-art photography with an empowering purpose.
The Photographer
From in front of the lensto behind it.
As a published model, Alanna-Erin brings a unique perspective to her photography. Having spent years in front of the camera herself, she understands the vulnerability, confidence and trust involved in allowing someone else to capture your image.
Now, she is taking that experience from in front of the lens to behind it, using everything she has learned as a model to create a photography experience centred around the woman being photographed.
Her approach is intentionally natural. Rather than chasing heavily posed, overly perfected images or asking women to become someone they are not for the camera, Alanna-Erin looks for the moments that feel real. The natural expressions, movement, softness, strength and personality that emerge when someone begins to feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves.
She also understands that being in front of a camera does not come naturally to everyone. Alanna-Erin personally directs each shoot, gently guiding movement, positioning and framing so that even if someone initially feels nervous or unsure of what to do, they can relax into the experience and be captured in ways that make them feel comfortable, confident and gorgeous.
For Alanna-Erin, empowering photography is not about changing how a woman looks. It is about changing how she sees herself.
Having experienced photoshoots from the other side of the camera, she understands how important the environment can be. Bandraíocht photography is about creating a space where women can feel comfortable, respected and free to explore their femininity and sensuality without judgement or expectation.
The result is photography that feels natural, intimate and honest, capturing the individual rather than manufacturing an image of who she is supposed to be.
Every woman brings something different in front of the lens. Confidence can be bold, but it can also be quiet. Sensuality can be powerful, playful, delicate or completely understated. There is no right way to express femininity.
Through Bandraíocht, Alanna-Erin wants women to see themselves through a different lens, both literally and figuratively, and to recognise the beauty, strength and individuality that were already there.

The Experience
What a sessionactually looks like.
- I
A first conversation
We talk before anything is booked: what drew you here, what you would like to feel, and anything you would rather leave out.
- II
Creative direction
Location, light, colour and clothing are planned around you. If a Bandraíocht piece belongs in the session, it can be part of it.
- III
The session itself
Unhurried, private and directed throughout. No experience is expected. You will be shown how to stand, breathe and move.
- IV
Choosing the images
You see the work first and choose what exists. Nothing is published, printed or shared without your written permission.
Privacy is the default. Photographs are never shown publicly, on social media or in this portfolio unless you have given permission for that specific image.
